Our Ambition
We want Starry to be a household name for kids that wish to pursue creative and STEAM fields. We aim to instil an emotional aspect in their learning by using art as an expressive medium. They can use their instincts, hobbies, experiences, and interesting learning topics to influence the way they investigate and learn about the world around them.
We want them to become future thinkers, seeing our world’s past and how they are the next generation of influencers and movers of the world. We want them to start thinking about their emotional and environmental impact on the world.
By introducing the evolution of ancient technology from ancient civilisations till present, we teach them how simple beginnings evolve into complicated thought and problem-solving processes. By revisiting the past and learning about the issues in society, children can learn from the past and develop their skills to build a better future.
We want to spark children’s passions and responsibility towards their future, and become a positive influence towards their world-view through STEAM education.

Principal of Starry Arts
Annie was born in a family of educators, her mother was a teacher. Annie grew up in school with her mother from a very young age. She saw that children with all kinds of personalities could not display their talents under various reasons. This encouraged her to become an educational innovator. Annie has been passionate about creativity, art and sciences since she was a child and now holds several global design patents. Annie believes that integrating arts and sciences will be an important path for the development of education. This lead to Annie beginning a seven-year study and exploration of art and science. Annie received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hunan University of Science and Technology in China. After coming to Australia, she spent three years designing and selecting a series of courses combining arts and sciences, and obtained two Master’s degree in the University of Wollongong and the University of Technology.
Years of life experience and educational experience in different cultures made Annie firmly believe that she made the right choice. During the 15 years of teaching, Annie has devoted herself to teaching children to use scientific knowledge and information to create their artworks.
Annie founded Starry Arts School in 2015. Starry is the mascot of Starry Arts School and is a virtual robot designed by Annie. Annie believes that the rapid development of science and technology will inevitably produce a series of negative implications on the world. If the world is replaced by cold machines everywhere, there will only be one consequence, that is, civilization will cease to progress. So Starry was born, breaking out from the metaverse to learn human emotion from children. Starry encourages children to stay away from screens and get closer to nature, learn about animals and plants, and to find and nurture their interests in order to showcase their talents.
Annie has developed a series of art courses focused on science and environmental activism. The children’s artworks made from these courses are collated and used to create a 3D art museum where the works are displayed. Over the years, Starry has accumulated more than ten thousand artworks. There has been major exhibitions held for children at prominent locations around Sydney including the Sydney Town Hall, The Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour. Annie has also collaborated with City of Sydney for many online and face to face events.
In 2020, Starry Arts is supported by the NSW government and shifted from face to face learning to online learning. After more than two years of curriculum development and AI education software research and development, Starry Arts’ Artibot AI smart education app will soon be launched…
